We have been appointed to supply a Highway Statement and vehicle tracking for a planning submission to provide an extension to Avro Heritage Museum at Woodford Aerodrome in Stockport.
The Highway Statement demonstrates that the local highway network does not suffer from any defects that would contribute to an excessively high accident frequency, that efficient and suitable access to the site can be established from Woodford Garden Village, and that the trip generation and parking demands associated with the proposals will not result in significant residual impact on the local transport networks or overspill parking along the local highway network.
Swept path analysis software was utilised to demonstrate that the proposed parking areas are suitable for the vehicles likely to use them, such as private cars and coaches.
